A new 60-bed home to be built at the corner of Main Road and Wallsend Road, Cardiff Heights. The home will provide low care and dementia care and will adopt the practice of aging-in-place.

All residents will be accommodated in spacious single rooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom.

The site has lovely views across the valley to the mountains in the north.

Construction is due to commence early in 2009 and the home should be open to accommodate residents from mid-2010.
